In My Life
I watched Ramiele's video singing "In My Life" in Youtube and I can actually take back what I have said in my previous post. I am no longer disappointed about it anymore..maybe I just had some "huge" expectations from her for the past week. I never really realized that she sang the song pretty well. I really love her voice. Her version is not a contest-type still but is something that will be placed in records that will really make a big hit for every place here on Earth! I loved it. I feel better now.
While listening to her singing, I remembered how that song made an impact to me years ago. That very song is something that I dedicated to my bestfriend, Carmela. I sang it in her 18th birthday party...I struggled with the chords but somehow I managed to do so.. The lyrics contained the thing that I felt for her and our friendship. And I am just so glad that Ramiele did it.. Maybe she did it for people like me---to remind me that somewhere in my life's journey, I have met this really wonderful person that made a very great impact.
There are places I remember, all my life.. 'Though some have changed.. some forever, not for better..Some have gone, but some remain..
All these places have their moments--with lovers and friends-- I still can recall

The message of the song is so true to me. I think Ramiele did a really good job earlier. I really, really feel a lot better now. I'm sorry Ramiele.
